Just reached out to my dealership again yesterday and unfortunately there are no allocation as of yet of CE in Canada.
I was planning to wrap my upcoming V8 110 2022 so its not the end of the world.

I was told CE allocation in Canada would be released October by JLR North America. I have 2% confidence, as it took several calls for them to realise there was even a CE model.

Not yet...though it's still holding in the system with lock date of 10/6/21 and build date of 11/5/21. Had one of the first orders for the model on the first of Apil and it is currently the only Carpathian from my dealer that still has a build date. So keeping fingers crossed. May know more next week

A quick update on my order. Spoke to the dealer today and my CE build appears to be holding pretty strong. The update in August was Jan 22, 2022 delivery. That's now been pulled up to Jan 7, 2022 and build has been pulled up accordingly. That a pleasant surprise. My confidence is up to 60% now...fingers crossed

Default 22” optional grey wheels (vs standard 22” Gloss black)

I noticed on my last VISTA screen shot the description of the optional 22” Style 5098 Satin Dark Grey wheel had been changed to 22” Style 5098 Gloss Dark Grey w/DT Finish. I asked my SA about the change and received the following reply:

“The standard wheels on the Carpathian Edition are Gloss Black 22” 5098 where the optional wheels (what we have selected on your build) are the 22” 5098 Gloss Dark Grey Diamond Turned. The Satin Dark Grey notation in a few locations (website configurator, some spots on our product announcement) are an error. The only Satin Dark Grey wheels they offer are the 20” version of the 5098 wheel. They have informed us that there will be a correction coming to the website configurator, but didn’t provide us a timeline for that.”

Does anyone have a picture of the 22” 5098 Gloss Dark Grey Diamond Turned wheel? I thought the Satin Dark Grey would have matched identically to the Carpathian Edition paint scheme but maybe it actually clashed with it? Any input as to what this wheel would look like would be appreciated as my LDOC (Last Date of Change) is approaching on 10/20. Unfortunately my SA didn’t have a stock picture of the wheel. Thanks.

@DFNDR90V8CE - Scroll down to about page 88 of the 22 Land Rover Defender Brochure. Here's the Link. Might get some other eye candy in other areas re: what's coming!

(And ask your SA if they've ever seen a JLR brochure...)

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the brochure (page 89) doesn’t show a picture of the wheel I am being told is the optional Carpathian Edition 22” Gloss Dark Grey Diamond Turned wheel. It only shows the 22” Satin Dark Grey wheel which he is saying is an error by JLR & not available on the Carpathian Edition. Apparently there is no 22” 5098 Satin Dark Grey wheel (only a 20”) & JLR will be updating this info on its website.

5098 satin dark grey 22". I just saw some. They're nice but I very much prefer the silver with Carpathian (below).
