IMHO "Retail price" and/or "going rate" is how much buyers are actually paying for these items. From what I have been reading (at least two or three examples of same 22s in the market place of this forum), I would not ask $4500 and hold my breath. Knock $2,000 of this price and you may have a chance. It is really a shame since these are beautiful wheels. They just don't belong in an off-road vehicle, if you are actually planning to do so and not just look cool when going to Whole foods or kids soccer practice.

Wow. Surprised by this. So I have a set of brand new 20" black wheels with brand new Pirelli tires (have about 100 miles on em before I fit my Tuff Ant Kimberlies). Should I be able to get ~$2500 for a set of 20" with tires? Or are 20" worth even more?

I paid $1750 for a set of 5 steelies with new tires. The guy I bought them from had paid $3500 for a set of 20 OEM alloys with tires, so I’d say that is roughly where the market is for alloys.

A bunch of new 20” take offs; for this size it looks like sweet spot is ~$2400.

I have seen 20” takes offs going for $1700 though. The last time I bought take offs were for my old LR4. I paid $1200 for a new set.

You surely can get more but your listing will sit for eons.

Watch these listings so you can learn turn rate if you want to sell them quicker.

if i were you, i'd take the $1500 offer above and consider it a win.

Just keep them as a spare set and change them out for summer.

I had originally planned to keep the spare set of road tires and swap em out with my ATs on 18" wheels between overlanding trips, but I'm just not sure I'm going to want to be doing that all that often. If I can sell these and cover the expense of my sliders (or come close) I'd be pretty happy.

Unfortunately, I have never had any luck selling wheels.

It's not surprising if you think about it. People who want factory wheels leave them on - people who don't replace them and don't have a need for them. I don't think there is much of a market unless somebody bends one.

Plus - I was thinking of buying a set of 20" with snow tires for my V8 - Tire Rack has BBS wheels mounted and balanced and delivered with Conti Winter contact and TPS for $3,500 so $2,500 for used wheels alone does not make sense.

People can ask anything you want to on Ebay- doesn't mean they are selling.

Its a shame because the wheels are certainly worth a lot more - but $1,500 (maybe even $1,250) seems about right to me if you wan to move them.

Just my .02
