Default Water in Car this Morning after storm

Morning all, have a p400 2025 thats not even a year old. I unfortunately woke up to about two inches of water in the center console area, and along the passenger footwell. Can only assume a massive leak from the sunroof or windshield. Headliner is absolutely swamped and leaking along the passenger dash while driving this AM. Anyone have this massive issue. In shamble this AM, worried the car will need a new glass panel, seals and headliner. Is there a TSB? Since it is less than a year old do I lemon law? Would love your thoughts. Cheers.

Oh my. I've got my first one on order and this isn't making me feel good. This should not be happening with a new car. I'm sorry that happened to yours. I've read online that the windshield seals can leak but that looks like a lot more water. I wonder if the drainage tube from the sunroof came off (If possible) or if it became clogged.

I'm suspecting sunroof drainage tube, I heard sloshing when I took it on the interstate. Pretty peeved right now given the car only has 12k miles and the amount of water ingress is quite a lot.

I haven't seen hardly any issues with water leaking into Defenders. The Discovery 5, this is a common problem (because they didn't apply enough glue at the factory), but not on Defender. This would be a warranty claim, as the car is new and clearly a defect. I'd go that route before attempting to lemon law the vehicle. Unlikely that sunroof drains would be clogged this quickly unless the car spends all of its time under a tree.

Might be a stupid question, but was the sunroof accidentally left open? That is A LOT of water, and years ago my sister accidentally left her sunroof open on her Ford Escape and it rained overnight. The amount of water in her car was similar to yours. Best of luck getting this sorted, its not fun dealing with a soaked car.

Regarding a warranty claim what do you think will occur. I'm worried about the car being held at the dealership for weeks/months. Should I consider trading in for another one? Also it lives outside 100% we have pretty gnarly humid summers here in VA, worried about what that may mean for mold etc

No chance it was open, haven't used the sunroof in ages. Checked this AM in case and it was closed

If you can get it in, and your dealer is on top of things, it should only take a few days to figure out what the problem is.

Get it dried out as soon as possible.

Take it to the dealer immediately. Like others said, this should be covered under warranty. I also suspect your drain tubes got clogged especially since you park the car outside all the times. The fix is not that hard and your car should be good. Good luck and sorry about your troubles.
