We've had a pretty wet Autumn with plenty of rain, and I keep noticing water drops on the wrong side of the door seals. Mainly in the rear doors. I don't see any wet or damage inside the vehicle..yet.

I can't tell if the water ingress happens whilst the door is closed (ie. the seal is leaking), or only when I open the door and water is allowed to pass over the seal. I would have thought the top 'gutter' should act as a primary seal and prevent water running to the second/main o-ring type seal. But I'm starting to suspect the gutter is a little bit more rigid and might not be forming a perfect seal - leaving the o-ring to do all the work. It's annoying and I worry over time this will become a bigger problem. Does anyone else have this issue/fixed it?

It's more of an annoyance for the moment, I don't know if I should take it in or just accept this as a part of defender ownership..?

I have noticed this on both rear doors of my 110. I have determined, through very unscientific means (ie just opening the front doors and looking back) that these drops only appear inside the car after I've opened the rear doors. But -- I agree -- suspect and am watching it.

Also, my drivers door dumps water on me and / or the seat when it rains when I open it.

Kind of wish this thing had rain gutters like an old D1/D2/RRC.
