I have to look for magnet and check my 2020 110X.

 

Thank you for taking the time to do a magnet. I had a feeling that was the case. I found this article https://www.whichcar.com.au/car-styl...fender-factory how they are made and it made me think that the attached body panels came from another area and are stamped steel. Maybe some has more info but for now I am in agreement that if a magnet sticks its steel.

 

I can't resist at this point. Defenders are made from;" snips and snails and puppy dog tails." In reality they are made from mithril. Heated to soften by the breath of the dragon Smaug. Hammered out by hand in the Dwarf Kingdom of Moria. Then attached by the deft hands of Elven craftsmen in Rivendell. Frankly it appears Gandalf did the software, but updates have been sketchy since he fell into that crack fighting the flamy guy.

 

I just checked my 110X. The front fenders, doors and tailgate are steel. The rest of the body is aluminum.
