Such a great vehicle, torque was amazing. Very reliable but failed to get me to my goal of 200k due to inability to pass emissions and needing to drive it 3k miles for it to be “ready” for testing. Got stuck in a loop of emission fails that never ended. Hope it’s still running like a top in the 3rd world!

The Defender will be an addition, not a replacement, to our 2021 Mini Cooper S and 2019 Corvette Grand Sport. A few years ago while living overseas, we had a 2013 BMW X3 that we loved, but had to sell it when moving back to the states. Thought about a newer X3, but not crazy about the styling or the larger size. We wanted something with comfortable back seats, a bit more cargo space, good road manners and comfort for long trips, as well as 4WD and ground clearance for the occasional unpaved road, winter weather, and TX storms. Good towing ability doesn't hurt either. We loved the classic looks and smaller size of the D90, as well as the available V8. I'm really looking forward to taking delivery in a few weeks.
