I was wondering about the drivers side wing piece; the installation video shows a D110 w/o the rear cooling unit, which my Defender has. I'm not handy like you and don't trust myself to fabricate a replacement wing that accommodates the bump out of the rear cooling unit.

Worse case I guess you can just not install the drivers side wing 🤷🏻

Around $1800 USD landed to CA, I still think it's worth it.

It was finally warm enough on a weekend I had a few hours here in Chicago, so I finally installed my chinacast aluminum front skid plate which provides access the the front recovery point. So the plate itself is very nice and is very good quality. The installation wasn't pain free as they were missing 1 of the 4 M6x25 bolts required to attach the bracket to the vehicle support structure, so I had to run to Home Despot to get one of those. Next up, the right (passenger side) bolted right up without a hitch, but the driver side bracket would not fit and allow the bolt holes to line, up, so I had to take an angle grinder to that and remove about a mm of material. After that it went on pretty painlessly. For less than half of the OEM piece and the ability to install it without removing the entire front bumper, I'm pretty happy.

Good to hear. I've got the exact same one in a box that I'll be installing in a couple of weeks.

I watched Simon PowerfulUK's video of his installation and he had the same issue with the LH bracket and said he was going to file open the hole and saw that he also grinded a flat on the washer. Can you explain where you had to do the grinding? I'd like to do that ahead of the installation so I can repaint the ground off spot.

Hey Mike, I replied to your PM, but putting the same info here for anyone else. Its definitely on the edge where you have labeled "here". You can see from that bottom edge how it increases in width as as it goes up towards the bracket with the bolt hole. I probably ground off a 1m to get it to fit without trouble. Make sure you grind down to the bend as well.

Put the Nitto Ridge grapplers on. Went up in size a little to 275 75 18. Loving them so far

Coils or air? Any lift? I thought that size was too tall for stock?

On air and stock. They don't seem to rub when turning in the parking lot. Discount said it was the biggest I could go according to them. I'll need to flex it a little bit to know for sure.

Although seeing that its 34 inches makes me think it won't work under full articulation. I'll have to test and luckily can swap them out with discount for free if they don't work.
