Default What does this cover hide in the Defender V8?

I have only seen this cover on the V8 models, I have not been able to open it on my Carpathian. Does anyone know what is hidden behind it and how to open it?

It’s the rear AC unit for pets or groceries.

It covers the rear A/C components, only there is your have 3 zone climate control, it is plastic welded onto the rear cargo area trim.

It's on any 110 w/ the rear cooling assist, not v8 specific.

Many thanks! Thank you all very much, I didn't know what it was for. What is very difficult is to remove that cover and I think it is necessary to disassemble the side panel if I want to put the air pump.....

Will have to remove the whole side panel (the big black/grey piece of plastic comes off with this nicer painted cover, it's plastic welded together on the rear).. as someone above said, even though it looks like the fuse box on the opposite side with a removable cover, this AC cooling cover thing is *not* removable.

(I installed the compressor in mine which required pulling that entire side panel)

Probably should have been removable from LR, but I bet that might cause squeak / rattle issues so they just made it all in one piece.
