Good afternoon. I would like to know what changes this Gap g4 tool can make in a 2024 Defender 90 V8 Carpathian? I have searched everywhere and there's nothing specific.

• Fogs on with high beams
• Auto stop start memory
• Global close
• Park assist
• 007 splash screen (if that floats your boat)
• disable fake engine noise

And of course all the other wonderful bonus features on all GAP tools.
On demand e-lift
X-lifter function
Code reader/clearer
Maintenance mode for the DIYer
Live values (handy for psi when airing up)
...... etc. So many uses

 

Great info GavinC - sorry to hijack this thread, but I would like to know if the GAP IID G4 bluetooth tool will also work with a 2025 P400? I see that you can purchase it directly from GAP Diagnostic for a lower price than from Lucky8 - do you get better service from one or the other - i.e is it worth paying more at Lucky8?

My 2025 P400 had never received an OTA update to PiviPro - it still shows a blank screen for the Software Date and Version info - I assume it's still safe to use the GAP tool at this point?

It works on all new Defenders.

Folks get too focused on the activations IMO
The other stuff is tremendous.
I love my on demand e-lift (lift rods are rendered obsolete with GAP) as is a LLAMS system and an X-lifter. It does all of these things.
Rods: $90
LLAMS $700
X-lifter $600
Dynamic mode $500? (usually only an option on the V80 is sort of like a tune. It's really fun to drive in that mode. I've no idea what a tune costs.)

I got mine direct from GAP. Great bunch of folks there, tremendous customer support, and I like to keep it simple, buy direct, and save a buck or two. They're in Canada.
