What happens when water gets under the rubber / plastic flooring of the New Defenders? Does it just sit there ?

I ask this question as ... essentially all of my Land Rovers have eventually had interior water ingress from seals, windshields, or clogged drains that soaked the carpets, or a leak from the sunroof at one point or another.

I love the floors however just wonder what happens when it gets soaked under there, which .. it will eventually on some L663's. The floors under there are aluminum, right? Or steel?

The L663 is full bodied aluminum. It will sit there.

The only steel I recall being in the floor plan exists where the two front seats are attached (and the battery resides). I suspect this is necessary for crash safety?

Enjoy!
