The OEM oofroad tires are crap. I alsoblew 2 of them in less than 2k miles. Now have General Grabber X3s on 18 inch painted steelies.

Get an alunimun front skid plate. It exposes the front tow hook and provides more protection.

If you don't have a roof rack yet, get a Front Runner. Way more versatile than the OEM Expedition rack with tons of accessories. It's also more cost effective..

I still haven't installed my wheel arches but will shortly.

An awning is great to havee. The Overland Pros 270 degree fully freestanding awning sets up super fast and provides tons of shade.
