Carpathian Grey is my choice and continues to be my favorite - and the color I've seen the least on the roads. Its a very dark metallic grey and compliments the gloss black accents really well. I'm about to upgrade to a V8 and will probably stay with the same color.
I saw a new 110 in British Racing Green on I 95 outside of Wilmington DE this summer.
I was exiting and it went around me pretty quickly but I thought it looked great. Got home and did a search and couldn't find it was ever a factory color - so it must have been repainted or wrapped.
I agree, it's puzzling as they could charge more for different colors but don't bother. Of what's available, I like lantau, pangea and, after seeing it at my local dealer and being impressed, sedona red. I ended up with Carpathian, which is fine but I'd have preferred Sedona on my 130 first edition as the other two weren't available. If I could get anything, I'd go sandglow (or trophy yellow I guess they're calling it now).
Just took delivery of a 130 in Sedona red. I love it. Only thing I couldn’t talk my wife out of, is she wanted a body color roof. I think it would look better with a black roof.
hey therift72 love the vehicle im waiting on a 130 x dynamic in carpathain 20 inch grey wheels ,black pack all black roof and a windsor tan and black interior , i see your in queens by the street sign where did you purchase from i went o freeport jlr which is close to where your vehicle pic is
I’m biased, but Tasmin with the white is awesome. I went with it as it was closest to the classic colors, with pangea next, (which I think I would like more if it was a bit darker). I just got the white wheels and it really pulls it together even more. The Tasmin doesn’t always photo great but I always get compliments on it (and the white) in person, even from non car people.
I’d like if there were a few other trad colors like a red but I’m hoping we might see them once LR catches up on production
I think LR understands that most Defender buyers are looking for Range Rover/G Wagon alternatives, which explains why you see so many black/silver/Carpathian Defenders with 20”+ wheels.
With that said I just wish they offered a few more non-metallic colors for those like myself looking for a more retro look.
