Did you break the plastic trim as @PowerfulUK did, or did it come off "easier"?
It was a struggle, but no broken clips or plastic weld. I did try to put some soapy water down there, not sure if it helped. Figured if I broke any of the welds I would just buy some new ones from PowerfulUK. I think the key is to make sure the entire unit, including support structure, is moving when trying to pry off. You really need to get the trim tool down in there.
