Anyone near Kansas City?
I'd be down for lunch. Downtown seems so smooth terrain for a bunch of Rovers to pull in. haha.
Also I am down to do off road stuff come April. Maybe even late March, but I am out of country until then for the most part.

So the plan is to meet at Minsky's ( 427 Main Street Kansas City, MO 64105 ) at lets say two P.M.? A bit late for lunch, but gives everyone enough time to get ready and actually make it there. Hope to see you all there!
I'll be there.
Also, if people are serious about wanting to do a KC Rover Club, I am in. I also have some pretty interesting things at my finger tips that may come in useful. We can discuss that later though.

I figured I'd bring this up now, and we can talk more about it tomorrow at lunch. I have a tendency to "over due" things (According to my wife). It's the way I am wired. It's what contributes to my business' success. It's also what gets my gears turning thinking about a LR Club.
I would love to see KC have a real club that others will see, and maybe be envious of. I would love to have a group of Rover owners that can go have a great time, but also be group of people that watch out for each other (not a gang haha). Even the idea of knowing which Rovers are for sale in the area, and who's rovers are who's. Even if they're outside of the club.
This all leads to the possible inevitability of monthly club dues, perks, shirts, vehicle emblems, events, and whatnot. The only limitation is the imagination. For some of us this is the most passive of hobbies, and for others it may be a real passion in our lives. These being the furthest points in the pendulum swing, most of us are however somewhere in the middle.
I am very excited to talk about all of this tomorrow, but I figured I'd post this tonight for the sake of something to think about on the mean time.
Over and out!

I'd be down as long as we run it/govern it better than the MidStates Jeep Club i'm a part of. That is a S*** show to the point i'd rather focus my attention (and finances) to a Rover Club that'll be down for more trail outings/bbqs/ etc.
Well I think that how it's run remains to be seen, but it is what we make it.
But I know for a fact that if ego and pride are checked at the door, and all decisions are made in the best interest of a good time and community, we should be sitting pretty.
