A buddy and I took Defender out on the Land Rover Experience, up in Manchester Vt. A half day with the senior coach and instructor, David was just what we needed. He dispelled all the rumor and innuendo, and took me back to the first principles of off roading I learned , then taught in the army.

We opted to use the new defender as opposed to our LRs as the cost differential was in our favor: nothing on our LRs costs a mere 50 bucks to fix, LOL.

If you haven’t been to Manchester…. my son and I call it “Boy playville” Falconing, fly fishing, golfing, steaks, scotch and cigars.
We’ve been going there for 20+ years.
