Default Expedition trips near Charlotte, NC?

So me and my buddy wanna go on an expedition trip/4 day offroading trip for Spring break. Is there anywhere in SC or NC near charlotte where this can be achieved? Any help would be great!

An "expedition" as in overlanding? I would doubt it but I live nowhere near there. Maybe up in Canada, eh.

You really have to go out west to do that type of offroading, but you are right near uwharrie, you can spend a few days on the trails there you can camp anywhere you want right off the trails.

You know its kinda sarcastic that people that want to go do fun things (you guys) are all out of state far from NM. Even though I live where we can go there is nobody that wants to use their vehicles for that still I do go on the weekends when I can. :-(

Too bad you're all so far away. I'd love to do tons of overlanding/trail rides with other Rover people. That's what I'm building my DII for. But, alas, I'm stuck with my Bronco, Jeep, and pickup friends.

Yeah, and it's slim pickings till about Colorado. Which is about six ish hours away. There are some Rover owners, just no people who like to go out and play. During the summer, though, I'd be more than willing to drive just about anywhere for some trail rides/overland trips, so I'd be willing to meet people places or go all the way to them.

contact land rover experience school in Ashville, nc. They can give you the lowdown on places and roads to explore. And don't forget to tempt yourself on the dragon.

Pretty much any time during the summer. I'm a college student so summers are pretty much free game. The only thing I've got on the docket for this summer right now is the Solihull Society's Land Rover National Rally at the end of July/early August, and I'm planning on doing a class or two with Bill Burke.

But yeah, I agree, getting a bunch of us together to go hit the trails would be awesome! I think we should.
