Default Recognized Events for everyday 4x4's?

Although I've heard of the Baja 1000, World Rally Championship and Monster Trucks, Mudding etc, I can't seem to find any off-road events that take place each year that actually include pretty normal 4x4s that haven't been so modded that they are almost unrecognizable as the original vehicle.

Does anybody know of any off-road events that predominantly feature everyday 4 wheel drive vehicles? I'm looking for something similar to the G4 Challenge but with all brands of vehicle, not just Land Rover.

Is there such a thing? Any input welcome.

I have attended the MN4WDA annual spring rally which just happened to be a few miles from where I live, and had a fantastic time just about every brand and type of vehicle from stock (me) to all out rock climbers. tons of trail riding and tons of prizes at the end.

Give this a try... http://www.va4wda.org/home.html

Rovers on the rocks, our clubs annual, winter romp, I mean you have a rover so stock it goes most places if you know how to drive sensably

I am hoping in a few years we can make it to something out west

There's always the Land Rover National Rally.
