SCARR is right around the corner who's going? I am hurrying to get the trailer and LR3 ready for the trip from Georgia.

I was planning on it but it looks like I won't be making it this year after all.

It's due to work, I am on-call 21 straight days right up to the event. There are few things I would like to change on the XD's setup before SCARR, but I highly doubt I'll find the time to do it. I would love nothing more than celebrating my birthday weekend off roading!

Happy Birthday in advance as I will forget.

I finally pulled the LR3 in the shop this afternoon right before heading to Safelite for them to take a 3rd try at installing a windshield

Thanks for the early birthday wishes! Good old Safelite sometimes they're awesome and other times it's like WTH guys. My XD could use a windshield, but I know darn good and well they'd yank it out and find rust and then tell me oh we can't re-install it sorry. It doesn't leak a drop so I am just leaving it as is.

LR3 needs a windshield also, but I need to look around at my options as I assume based on the damage to the trim on the Excursion they will destroy the a pillar trims.

Apparently also needs a left front wheel bearing.

Wild world of corrosion in there I know. Think I will put a new strut assembly in there and since I have it apart an SYA kit. What's a couple more hours of work...

Got to tinker with the XD today & it's weird issue that popped up after that cold front passed thru on Friday evening (last time I'd driven it also). First throttle was all over the place hunting like an IAC but ruled that out quickly. Next was check the MAF and air filter. BINGO I had a freaking plastic bag in my darn air box under the air filter...... No clue how it got there unless some 4 legged friend or bird planned on making some sort of nest with it. All back to normal!
