Nice wheels too- I bought a set over the summer. Haven’t used them yet.
I love my little RRS and I agree with the styling! Not too urban chic as is the case with the current RRS.

The Tuffants are great wheels! Totally changed the look of the truck.

I recently picked up a Bonatti grey D2 and would love to throw on a set of 16in steelies as well to match the RRS.

I picked up the TuffAnts for my d2. I really wanted 18’s with a little backspacing. I had wheel spacers made with the correct hub-centric & just made them into beadlocks..

Got out for a drive, checking offroad rally targets for an event we hope to have in late spring.

Coming up for a target start of the day

A little later very icy

Worst kind of snow very hard crust, with a sugar/loose and snow underneath. A real nasty stuff to get out of if the crust breaks, you end up high centered in frozen snow. I just drove the one tire up over the edge.

It was a beautiful day

Great pictures Richard. Question, what type of conifer is that in the first photo? Googled conifers of the PNW and came up with nothing similar.

@The Deputy Cedars based on the branches, I do not know if they are red or yellow. I have about a 60+ footer in the backyard maybe 20 feet from the house. Of course around here we just call them trees

The shingle guys and logging crews often leave blocks behind, easiest wood in the world to split, burns easy but very fast. I usually grab a few rounds when I see them, take it home and spilt it for getting a fire going.

Okay, it's quite a bit different than our eastern red cedar.

Your...western red cedar. Flatter leaf, more palm like, unopposed leaf stem.

Our...eastern red cedar. Tubular leaf, unopposed leaf stem.

Mystery solved, good to know these things...just in case you ever asked me to cut down "your" red cedar...l'd be out in the yard saying..."what red cedar?"...lol.

Your yellow cedar is more comparable to our red cedar...tubular, unopposed leaf (but hangs from branch, whereas ours clusters).

Okay, enough "tree" stuff for today.

got out for a quick shakedown run. First time for the white disco out since hg and cam. The RRC both have new suspension set ups since our last run. The blue is running a modified original SG 3 link in the front and the adrenaline a arm set up in the rear..thing is a damn slinky now.

Actually didn’t get a pic of the blue one on this trip. It’s the same blue one I’ve posted before tho.
