Default Fog lights that fit stock connectors?

Does anyone make (other then the Safari 5000 $200 a light) that fits the factory plug on a 2000 Disco? I really don't feel like wiring in and fiddling with switchs etc., especially if there the trucks already preset to have a pair just plug right in to the connectors on the brush bar. I'd perfer pencil beam hid but spot would be fine too. I can see to locate any but there are sooo many out there.

It is extremely unlikely you will find aftermarket lights that use the same style connection that the Safari 5000's use. If you already have the factory wiring for lights, you could just cut off the OEM connector, and either hard wire the aftermarket lights of your choice to the now connector-less factory wiring, or install a quick-disconnect.

does the dashboard fog light switch regulate power to those harnesses or is there another button and harness to connect on a dummy slot?

If you have the factory harness coming through your grille for the Safari auxiliary lights, hopefully you have a full OEM style installation. Having installed the factory Safari lights and wiring within the last 2 years, you should have (from memory) a single wire attached to the positive battery terminal, there should be an extra wire coming from the right headlight socket, there should be a relay box with a fuse bolted to the rear (firewall) side of your under-hood fuse/relay box, and on the left side of the binnacle (buttons on either side of the instrument cluster) you should have a switch for front fogs. Below that, a switch for rear fogs. And a switch for the auxiliary's.

The factory driving lights or off-road lights or whatever you want to call them will have a number 2 on the switch, if installed with the supplied, overpriced harness.... which I want real bad. ;-)

What's wrong with your factory lamps? You can get parts like lenses and stuff.

Has anyone made a Hella 4000 to Safari 5000 adapter? I’d pay for this.
