Adding roof lights
I just ordered a bunch of roof lights, but I want to use factory switches for them. Are the switches below my fog switches ready wired and what not? Or do I have to run wiring from them?
The lights in question are a 240W bar and 4 18W spot lights. I want the bar to be on a separate switch from the pods, 2 pods I want to use as reverse and 2 I may mount to the bumper when I get a steel bumper.
Will I need to upsize my factory fuses and relay for the reverse lights if I splice in the pods?
Anything else anyone can think of?

Couple things going on here dude
1. I suggest reusing your factory fog light wiring for the front pods. No need to upgrade anything at that point. I have 2 - 100 watt Hellas wired to my factory fogs
2. I suggest using your rear fogs for the back pods. Makes them like work lights. That's the easiest route.
3. If you want them to come on when you're in reverse, you won't need a switch at all. You can use your reverse wire as a hot. 18 watts is nothing on a 12 volt circuit (1.5amps), so need to add fuses or what not.
4. For a 240 watt bar, I suggest getting your power from the battery, with an inline 30 amp fuse, and a relay.
I personally chose to add my own rocker switch for my bar, but you can get a factory binnacle switch.
Please understand that there are no more wires beyond what is hooked up behind that binnacle. What I mean is that those blanks don't have harnesses or anything behind them.
You also have to be careful what switch you get. Most get a cruise control switch and change the faceplate. Then run wires to a harness for the switch. You need 3 basic things
1. Power for the switch
2. Power to the light
3. Grounding
if you want the full oem look, it's harder. That's why I just bought a complete harness + switch lol took under and hour to do all that mess for me (and I hate electric)

The front fogs are simple, I'm more inclined about the rear lights.
The reverse lights on these trucks are useless, so I'd like more light, I'm thinking I may be able to use both the hot from the reverse circuit and the fog hot. Then I could manually turn the rear lights on, or they would auto on with the reverse switch.
I'll start shopping for factory switches. I've seen them with a light symbol and the number 2 in them. Then obviously run a relay and mount that under the hood since there's a ton of room on the passenger side fender.
Is there any preferred route to run the wires? I'd rather not drill a hole in the roof, or run the wiring outside where it could easily be cut. The more factory I can make this look, the better.

Why not leverage the trailer plug for the rear?
Does the factory trailer plug allow for reverse light?
I've though of adding a set of the 4" square led ones recessed into the bumper and tie it in to the factory reverse lights. I wonder if there is a way to use the 03-04 lower lights and just flip them around where you can use the red lights for turn signals and the clear for the #2 fog switch. I know the purpose of them are to make you more visible in foggy conditions but hell most people can't drive anyways

yes and I stole that diagram because I was planning on using the rear fog lights until I realized they are also my indicators.

lmao good to know. I've got a crappy spliced 4 prong connector from the previous owner but want the factory one. I saw one at a pull a part the other day and plum forgot the dang thing. I got too excited thinking they had put a cdl kit in only to find out the didn't
