Default Custom Sub Woofer Box enclosure In My Discovery

It took me a bit of time, but I thought I did pretty well for my box. It took me about 2 hours in my barn, then covered it with the closest color I could find.

I just used my old stuff from another car, 2 12" JBL's 600w and a 1100w amp. I made it a ported box.

I had to put sooo much stuffing in it and would not recomend trying 2 12's again. If I could do it over, i would have used 2 10's.

I have another disco now, and not sure how my next one should look. Should I do it the same way, or mount it on the back door? (since its hollow)

I built this when i was a freshman in college so go easy please

All FEED BACK PLEASE!!!!

not bad, but I am sure the air space is way off, taking out the stuffing would be a good idea as you don't want a lot in there, also ported boxes require alot more air space so converting it to sealed may be a thought, if you want to figure out the airspace use this calculation L X W X H in inches, then divide that total by 1728 and that will give you the airspace, if you have a slant (looks like the top may be) then measure the highest point and the lowest point add them together and divide by 2 to get that part of the equation. hope this helps
