Hey I have a 2000 disco ii with an aftermarket head unit. Some idiot who did the install, just bypassed the factory amp all together and just wired the four large in-door speakers right to the head unit.

I would like to go back to getting all speakers working, including the subs in the back door. Has anyone had any luck doing this? I foud this on ebay... has any one used this before?

IN my experience, if you go to any car stereo place or even a Frys electronics, which is what i have out here in California, is that they sell car stereo adapters that plug into the stock harness and you can wire up the new head unit to the plug itself.
