anyone has a flip down tv in their DII by anychance? my daughter is asking one to be put in our DII but i looked on the top part and the space looks limited to have a flip down tv mounted? anyone here has this setup? let me know. thanks.

 

I have one in my 95...its slightly on an angle because of how the roof is of course, but it looks alright.
I'm planning on buying another lcd monitor with a smaller mounting base or possibly modifying it to made the fit look cleaner.
I'll take and post some pics if you like..let me know

The angle of the base isn't too bad, but it does block the a/c vent...overall it installs ok in a Discovery.

thanks for the pics. i'll get something that has a smaller mount. i dont need anything too big. i am getting this for my 7 year old asking me for a dvd and tv in the disco hehe. take care folks.

 

You might think about having the screens placed in the head rests, looks very nice. I then had them run a DVD changer to the back storage areas in my 2000 Disco II. Only major issue is that it is not nearly as easy to work as the factory DVD player I have installed on my LR3.
