Default '01 Discovery II Build

Got my '01 II last week and I'm working my way through the important things first. Replacing a few things, but overall it runs great and drives great and the interior is near mint. Ordered a 2.5" lift and some Mickey Thompson 265/75r16's which should be here Friday. Seller told me the MAF sensor was bad so I got one of those on the way. I'm going to build my own roof rack, and bumpers. The second picture is a part I need to replace. Does anyone know it's name? Is it part of the air cleaner assembly or can I get it separately?

Found this for $45
Is there any reason this is made of fabric other than flexibility? The fabric on mine is completely rotted away and I'm thinking about stretching a motorcycle inner tube over it.

Most guys will just use black gorilla tape... myself included

I have also heard of using a flex seal type product

Got tires today, rides better. No lift yet, that's been shipped and should be here any day.

I went Wally work and got a spray can of clear flex seal masked the rubber and sprayed it. I did 2 coats like that and tried to get the interior also. Then I got the small pint of flex seal pain Walmart sells and rolled it in with a few coats. Did it to a new one and a old one for a back up. I had to order the whole air box just to get that piece

Today we have torrential rain on the Gulf Coast. I noticed a small water droplet running down the inside of my windshield. Not a lot, a droplet every 3-4 minutes. I know this will grow over time so I'd like to address is now. Should I just try to pump some silicone in there hoping to plug the leak, pull the rubber and try to find the leak, or have a pro remove and reinstall the windshield?

Working through dash lights. SRS is on and I've gone through all the suggested checks for this. I have a replacement SRS sensor so we'll see if that helps. Anyone know where it's located? I've been rooting around for it everywhere and can't seem to find it.
