Looking good Brian! Happy to see another person axe the headliner, and some of the trim. One of the best mods I've done to my truck. I can see how the storage bins are useful in your current setup, but it also feels really good to junk those too haha... gained so much floor space

Hey Jeff,

Been kicking around the idea of offing the drivers side storage compartment/all plastic on that side. The right side is working out for the water container, but the other is just a catch-all.

Brian.

Wired up some switches for light bar and rear lights. Plenty of room behind switch plate to mount three relays.

Light bar on!

Rear lights on!

Head lights only (brights).

Head lights and brush guard lights.

Head lights, brush guard and light bar.

No rearlights.

Rear lights on.

Couple things to tidy up, but for the most part...done.

Brian.

Yes, even I was a bit impressed with the amount of light. I'd told my wife that if I wasn't happy with the lights, I'd go back to my original intentions of using some of these on her horse trailer...looks like she **** out of luck...lol.

Huh. I always thought Martians lived on Mars!

Summer vacation on the moon? "You'll come for the rocks but stay for the views" "What happens on Earth's moon, stays on Earth's moon"

Had to much time on my hands, and my back was feeling somewhat better...so, messed around with some old dog cable and twist tie-downs. Like making something that cost me nothing. Old dog cable, twist tie-downs were given to me by my mother-in-law while helping clean her garage, cable crimps leftover from something and two pieces of scrap metal for hood brackets.

Free twist tie-downs...made in USA...so, probably older than most of you.

Old dog cable actually works out good, just loosen and unclip, then throw cable inside rig.

Sweet.

So the hood brackets are actually attached to the hood (stupid question i suppose!) or on the fender?
