For SS brake hoses my 1st choice is Goodridge, or I get them made at a local hydraulic line shop.
If you are talking about AB's kit ABP218L ( Discovery Series II Brake Hose Kit | Discovery With Raised Suspensions ) all I can tell you is they had some quality issues about a year ago that have been sorted out. I haven't tried them, but I would. And they are even "On Sale"! Well it's time to start drinking.... Happy New Year!

AFAIK, the AB brake line kit is the only one that has all 6 hoses, so for that reason I plan on buying it as well.
Don't the HD springs give you 3" lift?
For roof racks, I have the BajaRack, but I think if I were to do it again I'd get a FrontRunner because it has flat bars (vs rounded) and FrontRunner has tons of accessory options ready to bolt on

I was told by numerous mechanics that I would not need to worry about brake line extensions with the 2 inch lift kit, HD or otherwise so that I is why I did not bother with it. Lucky for me the keen eye of a couple forum members here. I need the confidence that when one of these wheels is completely off the ground that nothing is going to snap. $140 and some labor is worth that peace of mind :-)
As far as lift height goes, hard to say. Guessing it may be a little higher than 2in to start until I get it broken in.
I'm leaning heavily on the BajaRack because of the style. I like the "wrap-around" look and since it will support a tent and has enough connection support for me, I think it will work. There is a lot of support for the Frontrunner rack because of the reason you cited, lots of accessory connection support. I guess I could second-guess this for a bit but I really want to get this beast broken in before SCARR and anything else that might pop up locally. If you're ready to unload that thing, I could be talked into helping to fund your Frontrunner purchase :-)
So funny how out of touch I am (as a Technology Exec no less), having needed to look up AFAIK. I agree. The only one I saw with 6 hoses. I was more concerned with them being braided, which they are. AB has been a wealthy beneficiary on my build project :-) They have also been very responsive and have provided good discounts through the process so I'll keep going back.

I will be watching from a safe distance. Hahah. See you there!
I bought so much stuff from AB in the early days, but once I discovered LRdirect.com, I rarely buy from AB anymore. Shipping is very reasonable, parts are 50+% less than AB, and they're delivered in 2-3 days, whereas AB takes so long to package and ship via 1 week ground.
I'm definitely very happy with the bajarack, I have the Baja Rack: racks_list_inside
version. With gas mount and axe/shovel mount. I bought it 4 months ago or so. Haven't even used it really, because of the engine rebuild I've been doing. I would consider selling it. But you're in Texas? Im in WA.

LOL! We'll ease into it :-)
Yep those are progressive springs and they do have a top/bottom. When they were doing that lift they certainly should have disconnected that little bracket that holds the rear brake lines to the frame for more flex during the install. Those suckers are TIGHT!!!!
Might also want to look into extending your ABS wires as well.
