You have to open up the radio hole in the plastics and relocate the climate control down about 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch.

Also you will have to remove the metal support in there as well. Drill out a couple of rivets and it comes right out.

Ok so it's time for some new rear sway bar links. They are completely shot.

While I was under there investigating that noise I noticed that the right rear shock is blown.

So the question is, what shocks for a strictly mall crawler DII? Good road manners with the DII are the order of the day.

So what do you guys recommend for rear shocks with good road manners?

AR you have to go a long way to beat the LR OEM shocks when you consider they lasted me 11 years and 115K miles. Even then they weren't completely scrap. I've replaced the LR shocks with standard length TF All Terrain shocks TF118 & 119. They seem good so far but having read recent reports everyone slates them. Given the choice again I'd probably use LR original shocks (apart from their price) as mine is also a mall cruiser and tow tug and not a modded offroader.

I have the TF All terrain shocks on the 110 and I'm very happy with them, but its hard to gauge ride quality in a 110 with MTR's lol.

TERRA"FIRM"A a just that firm, Monroe sensomatic wont last a year.
I have Armstrong in the classic and they ride close to stock.
my one regret is putting the wrong shock in my Disco,
the ride is nowhere near what it used to be.

Agreed drowssap, TF are a slightly harder ride (about 10-15%) than stock but seem capable for reasonably priced shocks. The steering damper takes some getting used to as it is seriously stronger/tougher than stock and no turning self centreing on the steering as was but also no wheel flutter at speed whatsoever either.
