Well the D2 is going to need tires by winter time so I was cruising craigslist and came across these. Now I just need to decide on the tires.

They are from a 08 Range Rover Sport. Need to order the lug nuts and hub centric rings from Lucky8 so I can mount them.

I figure it was worth it since the rims were a steal. They have a bit of curb rash but they look good enough for me.

Do the rims require the hub centric ring cuz the DII hubs have a raised lip? Oh boy are they a blast to remove welded on wheels, can't rock em......

The rings are needed to downsize the hub opening on the wheel to match the DII. In theory I could probably skip it but the set of 4 aluminium rings are under $20 shipped from Lucky8 so it seems stupid not to run them.

No experience with an RR SC...... I'd love to crack one open. Rings are cheaper than the lugs..... and I'd want to keep em centered as well, look kinda beefy to have wobbling about.

No kidding its up for sale? Yeah I saw the guy asking on LRO about it and let him know it was gone.

Now to pick some tires. I found 3 choices so far.

Goodyear Dura-trac
Goodyear Wrangler All Terrian Adventure w/kevlar
Auttro Mud Terrian Trail blades

Those are about the only aggressive tread patterns I have found for a 19" rim. Not that I really need aggressive tread to be honest I thought about getting Bridgestone Blizzaks to run on them.

Treadwrights. Should be very interesting to see what the 19's look like with rubber bands and Lego's stuck to em.

The Hunter I saw on CL was beat down, a resurrection project and 2k.

Hey, Denatured is taking a poll on the D1/DII would you mind hitting him up with a dead blow hammer? The Rangie is close enough to a D1 (parts share) and now with the DII you'd have the most objective mind about it. I can't do it, I tried, I failed.

Looks like I'll be running 55 or 60 series tires on it. I'd love to go tread wrights but they don't have a 19" offering. I've been running the guard dogs on the 110 since shortly after getting it. I love them.

I'll take a look at that thread and convince him to by the most reliable Land Rover, the Range Rover Classic
