Life with a Free 2000 Discovery II
The G4 RR and LR3 came with Goodyear MTR in that size, but they are almost impossible to find now. Where did you end up ordering these from? Some place local or online?
Jafir, I got lucky they are based out of Illinois
So they aren't to bad to find.
Online the only place I saw the 19" MT's was ebay.
I would say I wish they were available in a 60 or 65 series so we could get a bit more sidewall height. I've never wheeled a 55 series tires and I have to admit I'm a bit concerned.

I wish they were in a 255/60R18 or maybe just a little taller. I'd rather use my 18" wheels and get some more sidewall. Though I do like the way these 19" wheels look better. Maybe I'll get these tires for the 19s and some of those snow tires ihscouts mentioned for the 18s. After tax time of course.
My bad.....over looked your fancy rim size....
They're getting there........https://www.treadwright.com/individu...245-70R19.50-G

Yeah I saw that when I checked their site and was happy for a second till I noticed the .5 on that
Tires are in I'll get them mounted on the rims tonight. The hub rings should be here tomorrow so hopefully tomorrow evening or saturday I'll have pictures of the Discovery with the new wheel and tires.
Got her cleaned up today and went and took a few pictures. Thanks Detoured I think I would have to do some fender trimming for yours....
I have put about 75 miles on the tires with mixed driving so far. They ride extremely smooth, but you are definitely aware they are mud terrians above 35 mph. They are howlers. Not the worst I've ever heard but they will make you aware they are there.
