Basil would be better than what my daughter calls mine. It has a elephant tire cover so its name is Dumbo.....

The tires are Atturo Trail Blade MT's in a 255/55R19 on 2008 Range Rover Sport rims. I picked up lugs from a local junk yard and the hub centric rings from our friends at Lucky8.

I'm looking forward to getting that Rack on the back. Hopefully I won't be needing one of your bumpers after this weekend lol

I might be the first land rover besides Clancy to be rocking that sticker. I had to wait to wash the truck to put them on lol

"I have put about 75 miles on the tires with mixed driving so far. They ride extremely smooth, but you are definitely aware they are mud terrians above 35 mph. They are howlers. Not the worst I've ever heard but they will make you aware they are there."

LOL.....If your not howling or rubbing.......Your driving a Honda!

They aren't as loud as the Nitto TerraGrappler line but they are a bit louder than I remember BFG's being on a RRC.

It's definitely a very livable noise level. Especially for the only 19" Mud Terrian I was able to find.

The price point puts them in the ball park of the AT offering from Goodyear and the Duratrac from goodyear as well. I really like a good aggressive tire tread though so I was drawn in by that.

I will be putting about 1400 miles on them this weekend with city, highway and Rovers on the Rocks driving under their belt. I hope to be able to do a pretty detailed write up of their strengths and weaknesses by the middle of next week.

They remind me of the Cooper STT and the Tread Wright's that Detoured posted up remind me of the 16.5" Humvee Wrangler MTRs

The guard dogs are a direct design copy in my mind of the Goodyear Wrangler MTR. I really like the guard dogs I have on the 110..

Good luck with those Army, can't wait to hear to positive report as they appear aggressive! My only concern is airing down, I can't see much room for that with the limited side wall.......I'm used to going straight to 9lbs from 36lbs on a 15-16" rim.......I'm curious as to just how low can you go?

I also need to ask if your running a cast rim or a forged rim.......huge difference when it comes to air....

Indeed, you are the first.. Clancy doesn't even have one yet.... He did get some GB and Union Jack stickers the other day though..

Hopefully a few stickers, hats and cards will get shuffled around at Rovers on the Rocks this week.

That they should. The rack made it to chicago a few hours ago. I put a hold for pick up on it and should have it in my hands tomorrow.

I will see about airing down, usually I dump air to, but I'm not sure with a 55 series tire how far I can really go.

Well today, I greased and re-installed the front drive shaft. Did some general clean up. Replaced a front marker light bulb.

Had a box show up from Lucky8 that had these beauties inside.

So I went ahead and installed those. They went on so quick and easy it should be criminal lol. I've also been refreshing the fedex tracking every 20 min waiting for notification on the bak-pak-rak being ready for me to grab from them.
