not too much sludge in the oil pan but there was pieces of hard adhesive, sand/dirt, and short pine needles

here is the pass side wire wheeled and sprayed with rust killer after this all the black primer was covered with rubberized flex seal along with the whole side of the firewall also covered holes with metal tape and sprayed it with flex seal

Good job, I keep telling people the reason there carpets are wet is because of the hole in the footwell.

I did the same repair and installed a drain tube all the way down to the frame.

how did you install a drain tube?

ran out to my favorite u pull today and scored a pair of range rover factory headers with heat shields and the down tubes so once I get back to jersey we can get the y pipe made up and I can go back to driving the rover

do we need to use the heat shields that are on the headers?

funny thing is the dam range rover I got the headers from looked like a brand spankin new engine just had a small fire under the hood( melted wires by coil melted oil dip stick top) engine was insane clean no oil, grease nuthin I am half tempted to go pull the engine
