CB mounted, wired into power for rear mirror ground to common in same area, 20' of radio shack coax run in roof to back then through rubber boot into cargo door ( lots of lube use a fish cable) unibit to cut hole , grommet and hook up, home made antennea bracket, total cost under $25 had most laying around.

The CB bracket is nut and bolted with fender washers to the plastic, ran all wires through existing hole above sun visor, poked hole in headliner for coax, nipped a bit of plastic webbing to run wires in the ceiling console.

Put a loop in the coax after exiting door so water drips off

I think this location only will work with a real small CB because of weight

Looks great! I was thinking about the same location. How did you route your cable to the CB? It looks like you hid it pretty good.

Up through existing hole in ceiling console, punched hole in headliner then ran in headliner to rear , dropped down by tail light and through boot into cargo door

Thanks, I will be able to use most of that route, but I have my antenna mounted on the rack. I was thinking the headliner was attached to the roof ribs making that a pretty difficult task.

Nope remove front ceiling console, a pillar cover, both grab handles and you can get in there enough to run it, there is a ledge in the roof the wiring on pass side runs down , you will have a slight issue when you get to the vista window at c pillar but it is doable

Finally got the rear cones installed, made upper retainers from some galvanized laying around 6" long 1/4" thick 1 1/2" wide, bolts are 3/8" x 2 1/2 with washers and nyloc nuts, holes in bottom plates are 3/8" hole in top plates Are 3/8" and 1/2" this allows wiggle room to drop the second upper bolt from top on angle, holes drilled 1 3/8" in from end

We also removed the brake line bracket from rear it was pulling hard on the hoses at full droop, probly make short extension brackets

Default adjust your ***** !!!

Wow finally drove her after the swivel adjustment and it is like a new rig steering is perfect tight, no more wheel jump/ wobble when I hit bumps in the road it is super easy just do it

Only downside the ball seals were starting to weep, now they leak but I noticed rust on the drivers ball, am sure pass is the same looks like she sat somewhere a long time by the rust mark
