Take the HAM test. It is really easy and a lot better for communication. Don't have to know Morse code for the current one, it is a snap. If a pre-test is given, read the book and take it.
Just sayin'
Today I fixed some torn up wiring on the TPS. I added the missing bolts on the alternator bracket. Replaced a bad hose on the the Throttle body heater. I also adjusted the fan shroud so it no longer is rubbing on the fan.
I was going to do more and look at a bed cap, but the LR3 decided to have a starter failure.

So tonight I dug around a bit in hopes of finding the exhaust leak. Well on the driver's side manifold I found 2 missing bolts and all the others were loose. So I grabbed a couple bolts from the bin and replaced the missing ones and tightened the others up. Sounds better so hopefully we have that solved.
Well the good news is I was less stoned driving to work but it still has a leak. So I crawled around underneath and finally found where the bad connection was. It is directly above the cross member. Total hack job to make a factory y-pipe work with duals.
So going to see about just replacing the entire system from the manifolds back.
Today was a work on my LR3 that was dead in the driveway with a bad starter. That was a rough one due to limited room to maneuver. It's back up and running though so it was worth it.
While I was wrenching in the drive on the LR3 my long overdue package from Amazon arrived
So I had to take a couple minute break and install those on the F150. Amazing how much a little thing like new tail lights can really uplift the look of the truck.
