Default Prestige European shop truck

Hello all. We are finally getting around to building a shop truck. I picked up a 2004 disco II. The previous owner attempted to replace the head gaskets and got in a little over his head.

PLANS FOR THE BUILD

Rebuild engine
Front and rear bumpers
2 or 3 inch lift
Rhino line the complete exterior
Roof rack
Lots of lights

Here are a couple of before pic's:

You can go ahead and send me the cattle guard bumper when you don't have any other use for it.

We got a lot done over the weekend. The engine is out. I was actually impressed with the engine. The heads were re conditioned. The block was hot tanked and decked. The rocker arm, lifters and push rods all new. I was not sure why it was not running. Then I took the heads off....

Not good

This piston has seen better days

I have a guy that uses a "rhino liner" like product. He can do any color. I am going to do G4 orange. I am trying to post pic's of the engine tear down, but it says I have to have mod approval. I must be a newbie, lol.

Don't worry the mods are pretty quick around here. G4 orange will look great. I'm considering going the same color as the Camel Trophy truck color for mine, since those are the first Rovers I fell in love with.
