I hastily bought a 1988 Defender 110 that is registered in Montana and didn’t really look into what it would take to get it to pass smog and registered in CA and now I am stressing.. It has the Corvette LS3 engine and everything I read online seems to say there is no way to get it to pass and registered in CA.. Does anyone have any advice? I do have an office in Nevada so maybe that is an easier path to get it passed.. Would be grateful if anyone has any knowledge in this matter... Thanks for your time.. Mark

Mentions LS swaps first page, but read entire topic....because some laws have changed along the way. But, your issue, LS swap, sounds about the easiest to deal with...as long as all emissions have been added to vehicle along with the modern engine.
