Greetings Defender owners, AND I’m putting that Part# AMR5723 right out there because it appears to show up infrequently in any information searches.

I’ve been looking for a replacement fuel gauge for my 1997 NAS D90 and I’m not having any luck corroborating what I’ve figured out, or finding a used/new gauge.

The parts manual indicates that the above number is correct and it also appears to indicate that the fuel gauge used on my '97 LR D90 was only used on the Defender and only for the one (last US) model year - is that crazy correct?

Does anyone know of an interchange number for another LR production gauge?
Was it ever used/available in the UK under a different number?
Or if you have one you don’t need, well that just solves my problem
