Default 90 reframe to 110?

I found a decent, supposedly legally imported, 1987, ex-millitary 2.5 diesel defender 90 for sale near where I live. I missed an 87 110 earlier this year. >_<

The issue is, I have no use for a 90. I want something a little longer, preferably a quadcab truck.

Any real pains to be encountered when refitting to a 110 frame that I might not be aware of?

Anyone know if I will I run into issues with registration?

I'm not really going to be able to salvage anything from the doors back on the body, correct?

How is insuring one of these things? I'm looking to eventually switch it over to my daily driver, go from 12mpg to over 20(maybe).

I would suggest waiting for a 110 rather than going through all the anguish that will go along with creating a 110 from a 90. A LOT of things are going to be stretched.
