My 83 had AC fitted from the factory someone removed most of the system and I removed the rest.

2 bulk head vents and 4 windows is enough AC for me

Not me. I almost got heat stroke while stuck off road in my 90. One of these days I'll have a/c. Just have to find the money.

Meh if I can survive the middle east heat in a uparmored wearing body armor I can handle the USA heat lol

I finally found an all all original 1985 Defender 90 Soft Top. Attaching a few pictures below, it is currently at a restoration shop in Solihull getting sorted.
