Default Cylinder head question

Hi all,
Ive got a Landrover 90 so hopefully this forum covers this vehicle !.
She;s been blowing smoke sort of every 4th revolution !. so after cleaning oil pick up in sump. re-directing the oil breather. and then taking the rocker cover off only to discover one of the valve stem caps was off !!!. The decision was made to do the head gasket whilst I'm up to my elbows in it !. also had it over-running a couple of times. As I'm at the cleaning off stage. the cylinder head looks a damaged, just wondered what peoples thoughts were

It does almost look like a crack there. I would have it checked out by a machine shop
