Default Defender 110 Rack - NY/CT/NJ

Hello all,

I was fortunate enough to acquire a 2007 Defender 110 recently, and I'm looking to put a full length or 3/4 rack on it and ladder.

My issue is that it is I need to get the rack either delivered by Friday 2/28 to CT or more likely to be able to pick up in the Southern CT / Manhattan / Northern Jersey area on Saturday 2/29 assuming that shipping costs are not sensible.

I looked at some of the vendors listed on the site but none locally seem to have Defender parts.

Can anyone provide suggestions please of a vendor that has racks in stock that I could pick up on 2/29 in the above area?

Roversnorth have a rack that works but shipping is a couple of hundred and it may not make it in time...

Best Regards.

G

Call Lucky8 they might have one in stock. Have you considered a road trip to either RN or LK8 to get it in your time line?

How did you get a 13 year old defender imported to the states?

I'm also considering the LR and Frontrunner racks, but will probably wait a while to see if ARB comes out with a fitment for their new base rack. Really like the low profile connected look of the ARB along with their alternative to t-bolts, which looks much better than both of the other racks. I'll probably go for the FR over the LR if there's nothing else available just for the additional attachment options and somewhat lower profile look. Not a fan of the way the LR rack sticks up so high off the roof.

Lol. It's our toy down in South America, and was imported there from Germany.

We ended up just having a guy down there custom build what we wanted based off pictures we sent, and it ended up around $300 or so.. bit of a difference.

I'll dig out some pics when we are back down there later this week. Out of the NE freezebox and into the humidity box for the holidays. :-)
