Defender 90 - Engine?
Hi all. New member and about to take possession of a rebuilt and modernized 1997 Defender 90 in Canada that was originally from Italy.
The engine is a 2.0L Rover T16 MPI... I know nothing about it other than it's a very small engine for the weight of this vehicle... Especially with modernized looks and wheels. A sheep in wolf's clothing!?
Can anyone share anything on this engine with me? I'll use it for some highway driving and will never be off road.
I'd be interested if there's anything that can be done to increase performance? Bolt ons?
I'll explore engine swaps later as I know this is something that I'll more than likely want to do long term.
