Hi all

I am looking to buy a defender and was hoping for suggestions and ideas...

I need a defender for light farm work (pulling heavy trailer, towing a roller etc) and generally being used for driving to village etc

I do not really want to spend more than £5000 but could probably manage up to £7000

My first ideas came up with a 1991 defender 110, however i am slightly worried about the lack of power if i were to get one of these for towing etc? As we have a freelander at the moment and it really struggles with the farm work... Or should i bight the bullet and try and go for the a post 1998 one?
