Question standalone PDU in a 1989 Defender

Hi all,

I was wondering if I am able to use a PDU (power distribution unit) to replace all the fuses and relays in the defender. I have to do a full rewire as the previous owner has bodged it all over.

From what I understand the 200tdi does not have a ECU as everything is mechanical. So does anyone have any suggestion of which brand PDU does a standalone one that doesn't require an ECU to function?

Cheers!

Do you plan on using original location? Just going from old tube type to modern fuse style? Or are you looking to add additional circuits?
