Default Still wont start !!!

Hi All,
I'm having yet another tiny tiny problem with my TD5.
I have had a problem starting it and after some advice I have renewed the seals and copper washers of the Injectors and have this morning fitted a new fuel pump,,,,,,,but it still wont fire up !!!???
Any clues anyone ?????
Still seems to be a fuel starvation to the Injectors as the engine turns over and fires once then just turns over with no ignition ????
Arggghhhhhhhhh

Ohh how I miss the noise !!!

today I have read about a priming sequence you can go through to prime the Injectors !!!!
Turning the key on and off 5 times, then pressing the accelorator, then turning the key again !
This primes the Injectors I'm told.....
Any thoughts ????? anybody ??????

Ok lets go back with this , what was wrong with the old fuel pump ? that you had to change it .....

And all the line , hoses , connections properly hooked up , and there is fuel...then retrace your steps..

this is strange ...

Hi,
I'll list the problems and then what I have done.

1. the engine just stopped while I hitched up my trailor. It wouldnt re-fire so I put it in my garage.

Then after speaking to friends who have landrovers they convinced me to renew the Injector washers and seals. This done the engine then refused to fire up.
I then replaced the fuel pump. I cleaned out all the tank and I have 10 liters of fuel in it now.
I read on forums that it could be as simple as relays or a anti return valve on the filter housing.
Still wont start!
I also read that that you need to crank the engine over "a lot" to get the air out of the systme which I have done. All this has been done with the auto-purging sequence of pressing the pedal down 5 times etc........

It soooo nearly wants to fire up !!!!

A headache !!

If air can leak from the cylinder ( not enough compression ) it wont start,

i want to say we can rule out fuel....

suggestion - remove and re install injectors and washers....check back all fuel connections that was removed ...

let's start there ......

Can I spray a starter fluid into the air intake to get it to fire and turn over....forcing the injetors to pump fuel !?????
