Default What have i missed

Evening all,
Ive done the head gasket on my LR 90 (pre Defender) 1989 over the past few weeks and the time came tonight to fill with oil and coolant and give her a test !, whilst filling up with coolant, it seemed to get of a level somewhere around inlet/exhaust manifold level, possibly even head gasket level and was pi--ing out all over the place from under the manifolds sort of area !, have I missed something in that area ?. Everything seemed to go back together ok, certainly nothing untoward, I have put another head on which was pressure tested and skimmed !!!!!!
Any help would be appreciated, as when I saw the coolant coming out where it shouldn't be......I thought " the best thing I can do at this moment in time is to take off my overalls, go in the house and crack a can of beer". I' am normally a very calm person, but I just couldn't believe it !,
2 can later..... all calm now
Thanks Dave

Dave,

Take a picture of where it was coming out. My guess is a freeze plug or something is missing.

Hi Dave,
Yeah will do, it'll have to be tomorrow because i'm on my 3rd can now hahaha, so might not be good to be wielding spanners and climbing all over the wings, I've done a risk assessment, and the lounge is a safer option lol
