What about the ignition switch

 

See attached page from RAVE electrical guide. When the ignition key is turned, battery volts should appear on one side of the spark coil. Check that fuse F3 on one of the small panels under the dash. The Main Fuse that feeds that is MF 5 under the hood, a 60 amp bolt in fuse.

Also be aware that every post might not be read, sorry for the delay; the rest of the partz vulturez must have been at the boneyard or asleep on the high banches of the shade tree.

Replaced the ignition switch..added more fuel..recharged the battery...it finally started running but very weak power..then stalls after couple minutes..I feel like I'm very close to completing this project..Maybe bad ecu?Crank sensor or ignition module??Thank u for all the help so far

 

Mesure fuel pressure on passenger side fuel rail. Should be 32-34 PSI. Test port looks like a tire valve.
Bad ECU unlikely.

Bad crank sensor and it won't crank (on the GEMS engines).

Bad ignition module, if you have a distributor, can heat up and die off.

 

Just tested coil..I'm getting a flickering light on negative side so this tells me it's being controlled and powered by the ignition module..I get spark so I know I have a good coil..
I don't have a fuel pressure tester so I depressed tire valve and fuel squirted out across the engine..so I'm getting fuel pressure..I'm stuck.bad egr?

 

My battery is a 12.6 volts..do I need more for the discovery

 

When engine is running (if it ever starts) that voltage should go to 13.8 - 14.4 volts.

You can measure fuel pressure with a tire gauge.

You should check to see that injectors have 12 volts between their common wire and ground.
