1994 Discovery series 1 V8i, petrol issue.
Hi all,
I have recently undertaken the task of registering and fixing my vehicle for roadworthy, and have been running it on gas only for the past 4 months, i intended to sell my discovery and thought it would be a good idea to fix the petrol (dirty tank and clogged fuel rail). I have replaced the injectors, fuel rail and clean the tank out. when i first did this it was running perfectly on petrol(about 2 weeks ago) however 1 week in i had to replace the fuel filter as it was clogged with gunk from the old residue in the tank. the past 3 days after that it has been running great on petrol. however im back to the same issue i was 1 week ago, it wont start on petrol and switching it from gas to petrol at 100km/h does not work, it keep "jutting" almost as if though it is getting spurts and bits of fuel but not enough to maintain speed until it eventually stalls and i have to switch it over to gas again. running on 98 high octane fuel and a conditioner to try and clean it out but no luck. trying to see if anyone may have a solution, as im looking to sell but not only running on gas.
