1995/1996 Seat Question

If I remember correctly, the 1995 D1 seats will not bolt into a 1996. Will the foam and leather from a 1995 D1 fit a 1996 seat frame?

Don't think so. At least very easily but I've been trying to fit my fairly good 97 seats into my 95. Pretty much everything looks different but I'lll be pulling my seats over the weekend.
