If anyone knows where i can find some pics of hi lifts mounted to a disco let me know im looking to mount mine to the spare tire carrier if it can handle the extra fat its got a 235 75 16 tire on it now. Or maybe mounting it to the rear door i dont have a rack yet and i want it to still look good,and not all scabed together.

 

i have seen loads of people mounts them to the spare tire. a few companies sell kits. i dont even have my spare tire on my door anymore becuase those hinges suck.

 

I've seen others mount them across their rear bumper also. But, it would get F'd if someone tags you or you back into something...

My plan is to put it on the rack, if and when I get one......

 

What about the hood?

 

not sure you want to put it on your hood. for one, it weight about 3 times as much as the hood. secondly if you got into an accident you wouldn't want that coming thru the windscreen.
